The PIN profile
The PIN profile components include a block format, format control, pad digit, and key serial number.
The PIN profile consists of the following:
- PIN block format (see PIN block format)
- Format control (see Format control)
- Pad digit (see Pad digit)
The PIN profile can optionally contain one of the following:
- Current Key Serial Number (for UKPT and DUKPT – see Current key serial number)
- AES-DUKPT Derivation Data (see Table 1).
Table 1 shows the
format of a PIN profile.
