The qeth device driver does not recognize the adapter hardware. The cause of this problem could be a hardware error or a Linux® level that does not support your adapter hardware.

i) Investigate if your adapter hardware is supported by your Linux level. Consider using hardware that is supported by your Linux level or upgrading to a Linux level that supports your hardware. ii) Install the latest firmware on your adapter hardware. iii) If the problem persists and is not caused by a version mismatch, contact IBM® support.
