Auto-configuration overrides persistent configuration

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.2 LPAR mode

After upgrading Linux®, persistent device configurations that were specified with chzdev are overridden with the auto-configuration.

Ensure that your device is configured with the zdev:early=1 attribute.

For zfcp devices that were configured with a chzdev version earlier than 2.5, you must also perform a one-time migration of udev rules. To migrate the rules, issue the following command:
# chzdev zfcp-lun --configured --enable --persistent --force
