IBM Spectrum Scale filesystem parameters

The IBM Spectrum Scale™ filesystem parameters can be tuned using values for block size and the number of inodes.

Setting the value of blocksize
The default file system blocksize (256KiB) should be sufficient for most applications, although a larger blocksize can be considered if large files are being stored on the file system.
Setting a value for the number of inodes
ECM systems often store a very large number of files in a File Storage Area.
