Managing system resources

Use libvirt commands to manage the system resources of a defined virtual server, such as virtual CPUs.

Before you begin

  • Ensure that the libvirt daemon is running on the host.
  • Use the virsh list command (see list) to verify whether the virtual server is defined:
    # virsh list --all

    If the virtual server is not displayed, see Defining a virtual server.
