Unconfiguring IBM Electronic Service Agent
You should not unconfigure IBM® Electronic Service Agent unless directed to do so by a customer service representative.
About this task
Attention: Unconfiguring IBM Electronic Service Agent is
a destructive operation that discards configuration data on the local
system. If possible, export the configuration so that the customer
contact and system location information can be restored. When IBM Electronic Service Agent is
activated following unconfiguration, a new entity ID is associated
with the system. Information that is associated with the previous
entity ID and system is no longer updated. To access the systems data,
you must again associate an IBM ID
with the system.
