Kernel parameters
Different methods are available to configure the base kernel and all modules that have been compiled into the kernel.
Where possible, this document describes kernel parameters with the device driver or feature to which they apply. Kernel parameters that apply to the base kernel or cannot be attributed to a particular device driver or feature are described in the reference section of this information. You can also find descriptions for most of the kernel parameters in the kernel-parameters.txt file, which is part of the admin-guide in the linux-doc package.
