Before you begin

Review the prerequisites mentioned in this section before you begin the CCA installation.

If you are upgrading from a prior installation, be sure to review Default installation directory.
Ensure that you are using supported hardware. See Hardware requirements.
Ensure that your Linux distribution has the cryptographic device driver support. For details, see Installing and loading the cryptographic device driver.
If you are going to use the Java™ Native Interface (JNI), see Building Java applications using the CCA JNI for supported Java levels and installation instructions.
