Terminology

The following terms are used in this document for CCA releases and features.

CEX6C

An IBM® 4768 Crypto Express6 feature (CEX6S), configured in CCA coprocessor mode. This publication does not cover other modes of the CEX6.

CEX7C

An IBM 4769 Crypto Express7 feature (CEX7S), configured in CCA coprocessor mode. This publication does not cover other modes of the CEX7.

CEX8C

An IBM 4770 Crypto Express8 feature (CEX8S), configured in CCA coprocessor mode. This publication does not cover other modes of the CEX8.

CEX*C

Either the CEX4C, CEX5C, CEX6C, CEX7C, CEX8C, or (if plural) any combination of these.
