Enabling clock synchronization when booting

Use the stp= kernel parameter to enable clock synchronization when booting.

By default, clock synchronization is not enabled.

The kernel parameter specifies the initial synchronization setting. On a running Linux® instance, you can change these settings through attributes in sysfs.
