Schedule of disconnected scanner actions (disconnected scenario)

Hardware and software scans as well as packing scan results occur at a specific schedule to ensure that the tasks are performed efficiently and that packages with scan results contain the latest available data.

Start time of each action is related to the time at which one of the following tasks was performed:
  • The disconnected scanner was installed (the setup.sh or setup.bat script was run)
  • The disconnected scanner was reconfigured (the configure.sh or configure.bat script was run)
Each time you perform one of these tasks, schedule of running hardware and software scan as well as packing scan results is updated.

Example

If the disconnected scanner is installed on Tuesday at 5:47 PM, the actions start at the flowing hours:
  • Hardware scan: every day at 5:47PM, 6:17PM, 6:47PM, etc.
  • Daily software scan: every day at 5:49PM
  • Weekly software scan: every Tuesday at 5:49PM
  • Packing scan results: every day at 5:32PM
