Uninstalling the disconnected VM Manager Tool

To uninstall the disconnected VM Manager Tool, stop the VM Manager Tool and unregister its service. Then, remove the installation directory of the VM Manager Tool.

Before you begin

To uninstall the VM Manager Tool, you must have the following privileges.
  • Linux root
  • Windows User with administrative privileges

About this task

This procedure describes how to uninstall the disconnected VM Manager Tool. If you use central or distributed VM Manager Tool, see: Uninstalling the central or distributed VM Manager Tool.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the computer on which you installed the VM Manager Tool.
  2. Open the command line and go to the directory in which you installed the VM Manager Tool.
    Tip: If you do not remember where the VM Manager Tool is installed, search the computer for the following file.
    • Linux vmman.sh
    • Windows vmman.bat
  3. To stop the VM Manager Tool, run the following command.
    • Linux ./vmman.sh -stop
    • Windows vmman.bat -stop
  4. To unregister the VM Manager Tool service, run the following command.
    • Linux ./vmman.sh -remove
    • Windows vmman.bat -remove
  5. Remove the installation directory of the VM Manager Tool.
