Editing a data source
If some of the data source parameters, such as the IP address of the BigFix database or the location of scan results from the disconnected data source changed, edit the data source.
Procedure

The following modes are available:- Active - The data source is fully operational. Data is imported from all associated endpoints.
- Inactive - The data source is disabled. The existing data remains in the data source. However, new data is not imported from the associated endpoints. Connection to this data source is not verified during the import.
- Source for migration - Endpoints that are associated with this data source are being transferred
to another data source. After an endpoint begins reporting data to the new data source it will no
longer import any data to this data source. Note: For the source of migration option to be available, reconciliation mode must be enabled. For more information, see: Computer reconciliation mode.
