Catalog problems

The software catalog is delivered and updated together with the License Metric Tool server. Problems caused by the software catalog might occur when the version of the catalog that is available on your License Metric Tool server is older that the release date of a product and thus the product is not contained in the catalog. In most cases, upgrading the server solves the problem.

If upgrading the server does not solve the problem and you do not want to wait for the next application update, try the following solutions: Apart from that, open a case to the Support Team to report what product is not available in the software catalog.
Important: When a new version of License Metric Tool is released, upgrade the License Metric Tool server to ensure that the latest software catalog is available. Then, assign components that you assigned to the custom product to the product that is listed in the software catalog.
