To be able to schedule report notifications, you must first
configure the License Metric Tool server
to send mail notifications.
Before you begin
You must be an Administrator to perform this task.
Procedure
- In the top navigation bar, click .
- Specify the SMTP server to which you want to have the email
notifications sent.
Important: The SMTP port
must be open for communication with License Metric Tool.
- Choose the port through which you want to have the email
notifications sent.
- Optional: To have the email encrypted, select Use
STARTTLS.
- Enter the server domain. If you leave the field empty, the local hostname is used by
default.
- Choose the authentication method.
- In the From address field, specify
the address that is displayed as the sender of the email.
- Optional: To check whether you correctly configured
mail settings, click Send Test Email.
- To save the configuration, click Save.
What to do next
You can now schedule report notifications to be sent automatically.
