Disabling collection of raw utilization data

Raw utilization data is collected by default. However, you can disable the option if you are not interested in this data.

Before you begin

Procedure

  1. Stop all actions that were created by the Initiate Software Scan task.
    1. Log in to the BigFix® console.
    2. In the left navigation tree, click Actions.
    3. Select all open actions that were created by the Initiate Software Scan task, right-click them, and click Stop Action.
      The status of the actions changes to Stopped.
  2. Run the software scan. Clear the Resource utilization check box.
  3. Log in to License Metric Tool, go to https://hostname:port/management/feature, and clear the Measure resource utilization check box. Then, click Save.

Results

Raw utilization data is no longer collected from the computers in your infrastructure. The Resource Utilization report is hidden from the License Metric Tool menu.
