Optional: Updating the WebUI shortcut

You might need to edit the WebUI shortcut if you installed or upgraded to License Metric Tool 9.2.1 and you also enabled single sign-on using LTPA. This URL is defined in the WebUI file that is in the following location: C:\Program Files\ibm\LMT\admin\resources\WebUI.

Procedure

  1. Open the WebUI file in a text editor, for example Notepad++, and change the URL from https://localhost:port-number to https://virtual-junction-host-name:port-number.
  2. Clear the cache in your web browser.
  3. End all your browser processes.
  4. Restart the system on which your browser is installed.
