Learn about problems that might occur during the integration of License Metric Tool with IBM® Software Central and how to troubleshoot them.

Integration with IBM Software Central fails and one of the following errors is shown on the Computer Groups report, All Metrics report or in the server log.

The following error is shown on the Computer Groups report when you try to set up connection to IBM Software Central:

An unknown problem occurred while connecting to IBM Software Central. 
For more information, check the License Metric Tool server logs.

The following error is shown on the All Metrics report when you try to upload data to IBM Software Central:

Cannot connect to IBM Software Central.
Check whether the License Metric Tool server has network connectivity to IBM Software Central 
and whether the pull secret that was provided on the Computer Groups panel is correct.

The following error is written in the License Metric Tool server log:

To maintain integration with IBM Software Central, perform the following steps.

Log in to the computer where the License Metric Tool server is installed.
Stop the License Metric Tool server.
Open the java.security file that is in the following directory: installation_directory/jre/jre/lib/security.
Remove the RSAPSS value from the jdk.tls.disabledAlgorithms list, and save the file.
Start the License Metric Tool server.
