RESTful API Implementation and Management

API implementation code generated from the RADM is skeleton or stub code and requires further coding to create working APIs. Many different languages and technologies can be used to complete the implementation of code generated from REST APIs defined in the RADM. An API management system can be used to test, secure, administer, publish and monitor APIs generated from the RADM.

API implementation

For example:

Java/JAX-RS in RSA and Liberty

The implementation of Java/JAX-RS code generated from the RADM can be performed in Rational Software Architect. Developers can deploy their API code to WebSphere Liberty application server for testing.
