Transaction templates
In order to manage the templates of the platform, you must go to the Messaging menu and click on Templates. This section of the platform configuration manages the creation of templates.
The template management is restricted to specific roles. If you do not have access to this part of the platform and need to create some templates, please contact your administrator.
What is a template?
Templates are a very important tool if you need to manually enter multiple payments per day. If the transactions you need to enter often contain identical fields, we advise you to use this feature to save time in entering your transactions.
In the platform, a template can include all the data of a transaction except its amount and date. You can enter all, or only a few, of the other fields for your transaction and save them in the template, depending on your needs and the recurrence of transactions.
If your templates contain all of the transaction information and it needs to be generated at fixed time intervals, you can create recurring transactions.
Template list
In the template list screen, you can:

Filter the list to view a more restricted list of templates or perform a search.

Create a new template. For more details on how to create a new template, please refer to the section: Template creation.

Reload the table content by clicking on the Refresh button.
By selecting a specific template from the list, you can:

Display the entire history of the selected template. All changes made to the template since its creation are listed with the corresponding dates and the identity of the modifier.

View all template configuration details.

Edit the information of the selected template.

Duplicate the selected template. All the information of the selected template is pre-filled in the new template creation screen except the name which is a unique field.

Delete the selected template. A confirmation dialog will be displayed. This action is final, please perform it with caution.
Template creation
Select the organization to which the template will apply and click on Create.
When creating a new template, you need to specify at least the following required fields:

The template name so you can easily find it.

The flow that the template will use.

The currency from and currency to currencies.

How create a template from an existing transaction
Once you create a new manual transaction and have filled in at least one field, the Save as new template button will become active and you can save the transaction information as a template. You will then see a pop-up to complete the process:

Set a template name.

Click on Create button.
A new template will be available in the template list with the same information as the transaction that has just been created.
How to create a transaction from a template
To create a transaction from an existing template within the Payment Live Board > Transactions section:

Click on Create a transaction button.

In the Pre-filled Options drop-down, select Apply a template.

In the Templates drop-down, select the template to apply.

Click on Apply template button.

The manual entry transaction form will be filled with all information available in the template.
From Templates drop-down list, you have access to the complete list of templates available for each of your organizations. To help you find the specific template you want based on its name, you can use search from the drop-down list.
Not all required transaction fields will be populated by a template. Before creating a transaction, you need to review and complete all missing required fields. Please refer to How to manually create a transaction to understand how to fill the manual entry form.
