Inbound Files
To display and manage inbound files in the platform, you must go to the Messaging menu and click on Live Board.
File details are restricted to specific roles. If you do not have access to this part of the platform and need to display some file details, please contact your administrator.
What is an inbound file?
Inbound files are the financial messages received in the platform.
Inbound files board
In the inbound files section of the Live Board, you can:

Search for an inbound file.

Import an inbound file.
-
View the number of incoming files received by the platform for the specified date at the top right of the screen.

Quickly determine the status associated with incoming files.

Click on each queue to access the list of files, and see the history and details or take appropriate action as available for each status.
Inbound files list
The inbound files list display is limited to the last 1000 results. If you have too many results, you can enter search criteria and/or use the date field to further filter the list.
If you click on a queue to access the list of inbound files, you can:

Change the status to view the list of inbound files with the given status.

Choose a sub-organization from the organization drop-down.

Change the date filter for the list of inbound files by selecting the date at the top right of the screen.

Filter the results by entering criteria into the search box.

Refresh the list by clicking on the blue refresh icon.

Export the results to a CSV or PDF, or Print them.

Depending on the status chosen, additional options might be available on the top right next to the blue refresh icon.
The transaction list displays the following columns:

ID (Internal identifier)
To access or copy this identifier, click on the copy icon located in the first column: it is copied to the clipboard. You can use it to document issues for example.

The inbound file name.
-
The creation date of the file in the platform.
-
The category type of the inbound file: it can be Payment or PSR.

The file type: this is the format of the file imported on the platform, it can be an ISO standard or a client-specific format.

The Transactions count: this is the number of transactions available in the inbound file received.

The organization for the inbound file.
An action column is available to let you interact with the selected result:

History: display the entire history of the selected inbound file. All changes made to the inbound file since its creation are listed with the corresponding dates and the identity of the modifier.

Details: open a new page with all the details for the selected inbound file.
Inbound files details
If you click the details button for one of the inbound files in the list, you will see a similar display. You can:

Take certain actions depending on the status.
-
View the history.
-
Export the inbound files' details.
-
See the status progress bar.

Navigate through the various tabs for more information about the inbound file (File details, File content, Transactions overview, Transactions, Output payment file, and Notifications). Information and a screen image for each of these is included below.
File details tab
Fields available include:

The organization for this inbound file.
-
The status of the inbound file.
-
The file name of the inbound file.
-
The state of the inbound file, with a view state button for more details including the last modifier, the state code & reason.

A download button to download the inbound file.
-
The category of the inbound file (Payment/PSR).

The origin if applicable.
-
The file type of the inbound file.
-
The input connectivity if applicable.
-
The file ID for the inbound file.
-
The flow, with a view flow button for more details about the flow associated with the inbound file.

The transaction count.
-
The creation date and time of the inbound file.
- The original file creation date of the outbound file.
-
The creator of the inbound file: the username or API key name that initiates the inbound file will be displayed.
- The file format of the inbound file.
- The flow of the inbound file will/was assigned to.
File content tab
If the file content is available, it will be displayed. In the above image, the actual contents of the file have been masked (hidden).
Transactions overview tab
The transactions overview offers an overview of the transactions available on the file, grouped by status. If you click on the number, you will be redirected to the search screen with the list of transactions with that status for the inbound file.
Transactions tab
The transactions tab shows a list of transactions contained in the inbound file.
Output payment file tab
The output payment file tab shows a list of any outbound files that were generated from the inbound file.
Notifications tab
The notifications tab shows any notifications that were generated for the inbound file.
Inbound files statuses
Each inbound file status corresponds to a specific step of your file processing:

Files failed: Gathers all inbound files whose content is considered invalid and that cannot be processed by the platform.

Files rejected: Gathers all inbound files whose business validations were not respected or that were rejected manually.

Files received: Gathers all inbound files being processed by the platform.
-
Files to approve: Gathers all inbound files awaiting manual approbation before processing.

Files processed: Gathers all inbound files processed by the platform.

Files reconciled: Gathers all inbound files reconciled with a PSR received.
