Authentication with IBM Security Verify

You need to follow the following steps when you log in to the platform for the first time or when logging in later.

The authentication will be provided by IBM Security Verify starting on 11 Nov 2023. Please learn more about our new authentication tool migration.

First login

Account creation

When your user account is created on the platform, you will receive an email to confirm the creation of your account and provide you with your temporary password. Please check your emails, the message you will receive contains the subject “Account created” from IBM Payments Center®️ - Wire Services <ibmacct@iam.ibm.com>.

Before being able to access the platform, you need to change your password and enroll with an MFA:

Click on the IBM Payments Center®️ - Wire Services Link available on the email received: you will be redirected to the platform.
Enter your email address and click on Continue.
Enter the temporary password provided on the email received and click on Continue.

Password change

Enter your new password in the New Password field.
Confirm it by re-typing the same password in the Confirm password field.
Click on Change Password.

You need to set up a new password following the platform password policy: Password Policy. The policy is available on the reset password screen too.

You will receive an email confirming that your password was changed, containing the subject “Password changed” from IBM Payments Center®️ - Wire Services <ibmacct@iam.ibm.com>.

Multifactor enrollment

Multifactor authentication is mandatory for all users in order to provide enhanced security. Installing a two-step authentication tool is a mandatory prerequisite for gaining access to the platform.

Choose the Authenticator app option and click on SETUP.

MFA enrollment - Verification Method choice

You can follow the displayed instructions and install “IBM Security Verify” or “Google Authenticator”, or follow this guide.
Click on Connect you authenticator once your MFA tool is installed.

Using your MFA tool, please scan the displayed QR code and click on Test your authenticator.

Enter the 6-digit code your two-step authentication tool gives, and click on Submit.
Click on DONE and you will be redirected to the platform home page.

Once your MFA enrollment is completed, you will receive an email with the subject “Multifactor enrollment added” from IBM Payments Center®️ - Wire Services <ibmacct@iam.ibm.com>.

Access the Platform

Before you start trying to connect, you must have already received the platform URL from your administration team:

Add the received URL as a bookmark.
Go to the Platform URL, you will be redirected to the authentication steps.
Enter your email address and click on Continue.
Enter your password and click on Continue.
Enter your 6-digit MFA code.
Click on Submit and you will be redirected to the platform.

Reset your password

To reset your password:

Go to the Platform URL, you will be redirected to the authentication steps.
Enter your email address and click on Continue.
Click on the Forgot your password? link, enter your email address, and click on Continue.
You will receive an email with the subject “Your password reset information” from IBM Payments Center®️ - Wire Services <ibmacct@iam.ibm.com>.
Click on the link provided in the email: this link is valid for only 30 minutes. You can regenerate a new valid link by restarting the password reset process at the beginning.
Enter your new password in the New Password field.
Confirm it by re-typing the same password in the Confirm password field.
Click on Change password.

You need to set up a new password following the platform password policy: Password Policy. The policy is available on the reset password screen too.

We will receive an email confirming that your password was reset, containing the subject “Your password reset is complete” from IBM Payments Center®️ - Wire Services <ibmacct@iam.ibm.com>.

Reset your MFA

To reset your MFA:

Ask your administrator to reset your MFA.
Once the action is completed by your administrator, you will receive an email containing the subject “Multifactor enrollment removed” from IBM Payments Center®️ - Wire Services <ibmacct@iam.ibm.com>.
Go to the Platform URL, you will be redirected to the authentication steps.
Enter your email address and click on Continue.
Enter your password and click on Continue.
Follow the same steps as Multifactor enrollment.
