Partitioned database features
Optim™ High Performance Unload comes with a number of features to support partitioned Db2® database environments.
The following features support Db2 Data Partitioning feature (DPF):
- You can unload Db2 table data from all the database partitions where the data resides with a single execution of Optim High Performance Unload.
- You can unload Db2 table data from all of the database partitions to a single output file or to multiple output files, either on the local nodes (each node is unloaded to one or more files at the same location as the node itself) or on the current node (all of the nodes are unloaded to one or more files at the location of the node where you run Optim High Performance Unload).
