Explanation

Message Variables:
  • subsys – Z APM Connect Base subsystem.
  • area – Area name.
  • retcode – Return code from Z APM Connect Base startup.

System action

Normal processing is attempted. If unsuccessful, Z APM Connect Base is shut down.

This message is usually accompanied by a z/OS® abend and other messages. Analyze the abend and messages together with the return code from the STORAGE macro. If the problem persists, contact IBM® Software Support.
