Searching for an address

You can search for an address. If the address is found, it is displayed on the map, in the list, or on the calendar. Then, for example, you can search for data items that are within a specified distance from the address.

Before you begin

Ensure that your administrator has configured a geocoding provider. For more information, see the related link.

Procedure

  1. Click Address Search, and enter the address into the window that is displayed. If the address is found, a pin highlights the address on the map. In either the list, or in the calendar, the address is displayed in an address search result row.
  2. Click either the pin or the address search result row to display a preview card that contains an actions menu with an action for searching for nearby data items.
