EAM workflow service

Use the EAM workflow service to manage work orders and service orders for the tenants in your solution.

If tenants in your solution are integrated with IBM® Maximo® Asset Management, then by default the work orders and service orders for these tenants are created in the EAM system and then synchronized with Device Management Enablement. In the same way, the links that are created between these work orders, service orders, and assets are created in the EAM system and in Device Management Enablement. The link between a service order and an event is created in Device Management Enablement only.

Alternatively for these integrated tenants, you can set a property in the service requests to ingest work orders, service orders, and their associations from the integrated EAM system into Device Management Enablement.
