Transaction data

The transaction data deals with the day-to-day transactions for a tenant, including supply and demand updates, and reservations.

Inventory identification
The inventory service uses inventory identification numbers to differentiate products. Inventory identification numbers are also used for products that require differentiation, both physically and systematically, for product instances with slightly different characteristics.
Supply and demand
The supply for an item is the entire quantity of the item that is received at a node. The demand for an item is the expressed desire to use a quantity of the item. Demand includes orders that are placed and reservations that are made for an item.
Availability
You can view the availability picture by date range or for a bundle.
Reservations
The reservation is an action that guarantees supply allotment to a demand for later consumption.
