Viewing optimization explainer
When an order is sent to the Optimization service, many rules, configurations, constraints, and cost optimization goals are applied to determine the most optimal way to fulfill it. The Optimization service gives you insights into how your orders are optimized based on your business objectives.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, you must be assigned the following roles to access:
- A Business Analyst or Business Administrator role.
For more information about user roles, see Defining user permissions and roles.
- The Fulfillment Manager role in Order Hub.
For more information about user roles in Order Hub, see Adding users.
After you are assigned the necessary roles in the Optimization service, you can access the optimization explainer.
From the menu, click . If you do not see this option in the menu, ask your administrator to assign you the Fulfillment Manager role in Order Hub.
