Logging in to Order Hub
Order Hub is a user interface that fulfillment and order management professionals can use to manage their fulfillment network. You can translate your business goals into actions within the fulfillment network by using the intuitive interface, contextual data, and key performance metrics that Order Hub provides.
Adding users
As a Tenant administrator, you can give users access to Order Hub.
Managing user roles
Sterling Intelligent Promising mimics the user roles that are set up and managed by using the Order Hub user interface.
Configuring the catalog
Managing catalog section help to manage the SKUs and their attributes. The attributes include unit of measure, delivery methods allowed, dimensions, and basic attributes needed for the Optimization service.
Configuring item classification
You can configure the item classification by using the classification domain, classification, and item classification API.
Managing node types
Node types define common node configurations and can be used to group nodes during sourcing. The default node types that can be assigned to ship nodes are distribution center (DC), store, and vendor. You can also create or delete custom node types based on your business needs.
Configuring nodes
A ship node, or node, represents a location in which inventory is stored and can be used for fulfillment. You can create, view, edit, and delete nodes.
Configuring carriers
A carrier is a transportation service provider that provides shipping and delivery services between sellers and shoppers. You can create, view, edit, or delete carriers. You can also associate one or more carrier services with a carrier.
Configuring custom attributes
Custom attributes are specific attributes that aid in extensibility. You can create a custom attribute to add to the conditions applied by fulfillment rules by using the createCustomAttribute API.
Managing distribution groups
You can add, delete, or prioritize a node or nodes to the distribution groups.
Managing promising
As a business user, you can manage carriers, carrier services, fulfillment rules, and promising configurations.
Managing optimization
The Optimization service selects the best ship nodes to fulfill each order by using the optimization profiles that you define.
