Item attribute

The item attribute capability enables a catalog manager to extend the item definition with extra attributes to meet the business needs.

The creation of item attributes is a two-step process:

1. Creating an attribute and defining allowable values.
2. Assigning attributes to an item.

Item attributes are supported for data type string, integer, double, boolean, and date without a space or as a JSON attribute name.
