Using data from medical devices in message flows
Use a MedicalDeviceInput node in a message flow to collect data from medical devices. You can develop your message flow to transfer this data to clinical applications, for example, to send to a data warehouse or to be displayed on an information dashboard.
Before you start:
- Configure the integration node. To use your message flow, it must be deployed to an integration node. To set up a default integration node configuration, see Creating the default configuration for IBM Integration Bus Healthcare Pack.
- Read the information about how to develop message flow applications; see Developing message flow applications in the IBM® Integration Bus product documentation.
- Check whether there are any patterns that you can use (or adapt) to meet your requirements, see Developing healthcare message flow applications by using the patterns supplied in IBM Integration Bus Healthcare Pack.
