Modifying an integration node on z/OS

Use the mqsichangebroker command on z/OS® to modify your integration node.

Before you begin

You must have completed the following task:

About this task

To modify an integration node:

Procedure

  1. Ensure that the integration node is running.
  2. Stop the integration node components by issuing the following command:
    /F BROKERNAME, PC
  3. When the integration node has stopped, use the MVS MODIFY command with the changebroker parameters that you want to change.

    For example:

    /F <BROKERNAME>,cb g=100,k=200
For further information about parameters that you can use, see mqsichangebroker command - z/OS.
  4. Restart the integration node components by issuing the following command:
    /F BROKERNAME, SC

The integration node now uses the changed parameters.

What to do next

You cannot change all the parameters with which you created an integration node. If you cannot modify a parameter that you want to change by using the changebroker command, delete the integration node and create a new one. By creating another integration node you can redefine all the parameters.
