Discovery editor

The discovery editor is opened in the editor area of the Integration Development perspective when you either double-click a .service file, or right-click a .service file and select Open With; the discovery editor is the default editor.

The discovery editor guides you through the creation of a Database Service or an MQ Service. When the discovery editor is first opened, the editor focus is on the Description pane. When an already discovered service is opened for editing, the editor focus is on the Service Interface pane. You can use the Checklist on the left side of the editor to move between the discovery editor panes.
