Installing IBM App Connect for Manufacturing

You can install IBM® App Connect for Manufacturing in graphical mode, console mode, or silent mode.

Before you begin

  • Install IBM Integration Bus.
  • Ensure that the IBM Integration Toolkit is closed.
  • Ensure that all the integration nodes are stopped.

  • Install one of the databases:
    • IBM Db2®
    • Oracle Database
    • MySQL Community Server
    • Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL)
  • UNIX platformLinux platform Ensure that you have root administrator privileges, and write permissions to the installation directory.
  • Windows platform Ensure that you have administrator privileges.

To install IBM App Connect for Manufacturing, complete one of the following tasks:
Note: Installing IBM App Connect for Manufacturing does not affect the installation of other IBM Integration Bus products. The installation wizard for IBM App Connect for Manufacturing installs the required files and, if required, the uninstallation wizard removes them without affecting other IBM Integration Bus products.
