To send alert notifications from Instana to Webex Teams in real time, create a Webex Teams alert channel.
Creating a Webex Teams alert channel
To create a Webex Teams alert channel, click Settings > Global Settings > Events & Alerts > Alert Channels > Add Alert Channel in the Instana UI.
Add the Webex Teams Webhook URL, which you can create on the Webex App Hub at Incoming Webhooks.
When you test the integration with the Test Channel button in the Create Cisco Webex Teams Webhook Alert Channel dialog, a message as follows appears in the Webex Teams space, and the message is linked to the Incoming Webhook:
Alerting examples
After you create the alert channel, alerts for the following
events are received as an HTTP POST request to the
configured Webex Teams Webhook URL (HTTP or HTTPS), the address
which the alerts will be sent to.
