To send alert notifications from Instana to Google Chat in real time, create a Google Chat alert channel.
Creating a Google Chat alert channel
To create a Google Chat alert channel, click Settings > Global Settings > Events & Alerts > Alert Channels > Add Alert Channel in the Instana UI.
Add the Google Chat webhook URL, which you can create in Google Chat by going to the chat room and clicking Configure webhooks > Save.
Alerting examples
After you create the alert channel, alerts for the events are
received as an HTTP POST request to the configured
Google Chat webhook URLs (HTTP or HTTPS), the address which the
alerts will be sent to.
