Installing the host agent on Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS)

For a complete list of the Instana agent prerequisites, see Checking the agent prerequisites on Kubernetes. In addition to the current list of supported operating systems, the Instana agent for Amazon EKS is also supported on Bottlerocket OS AMI.

To install and run the host agent, see Install by using the operator.

After you install the host agent, you can check the status of the host agent in the Instana UI or on the host. For more information, see Checking the status of the host agent.
