DBmarlin

DBmarlin comes as a solution for deeper database insights in case of slow database performances or SQL queries, and it has integration with Instana.

Configuring DBmarlin integration

You can configure Instana to integrate database queries that can be analyzed with DBmarlin. Follow the steps:

  1. Click Settings > Integrations > Database in the Instana UI. Then select Configure integration on the DBmarlin card.

  2. In the form, enter your instance's URL in the input field. Optionally, you can test your configuration by clicking the link that appears under the input field. After the configuration is complete, click Save and enable.

  3. If you go back to the overview page, you can see that the DBmarlin card now shows a toggle that you can use to enable or disable your integration.
