Documentation outside IBM Docs
You can download PDFs and HTML archives of Instana documentation for use outside IBM Docs.
You can create your own instance of IBM Documentation Offline to view Instana documentation without an internet connection. To use HTML archives in the IBM Documentation Offline desktop application, you first download the application, and then download your choice of archives to upload into the application. For more information, see IBM Documentation Offline.
Documentation for Instana versions in IBM Docs
For versions of Instana that have documentation in IBM Docs, you can download a PDF and HTML archive (.zip file) from the bottom of the TOC in a topic page.
Check the HTML archive download link from time to time. If the HTML archive was updated since you downloaded it, the label is shown as Update available instead of Offline docs.
Documentation for older Instana versions
For search engine optimization for the latest Instana versions in IBM Docs, the documentation for older Instana versions is removed from IBM Docs. To provide extended availability of documentation for older Instana versions, PDFs and HTML archives are provided outside IBM Docs.
For older Instana versions that do not have documentation in IBM Docs, you can download PDFs and HTML archives from the table below. You can upload the HTML archives into the IBM Documentation Offline application.
The Instana SaaS deployment is always at the current (latest) version, described in the current version documentation. The SaaS release notes identify changes in the current and earlier versions. For reference, documentation for older Instana SaaS versions is provided from the following table.
