Note: the Instana AutoTrace WebHook can automatically configure distributed tracing for NGINX on Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift, with the following limitations:

  • Instana AutoTrace WebHook supports only NGINX 1.19 or later.
  • Instana AutoTrace WebHook does not support OpenResty yet.
