Filter empty rows in the Infrastructure table widget

The dataset selector in the Infrastructure table widget has a new checkbox for filtering the empty rows from the table widget. When you select the Filter empty values checkbox, the widget displays only the rows that have a value for the metric.

Kong API Gateway

The Kong API Gateway sensor now supports the hybrid mode architecture of Kong. For more information about monitoring the Kong API Gateway and its metrics, see Performance metrics for Kong API Gateway.

Microsoft Purview

Optionally show groups with missing tags in the Table widget for Infrastructure and Platforms

The Table widget for the Infrastructure & Platforms data source now provides an optional configuration toggle for showing groups that are missing tags.

Oracle WebLogic 14 support

Instana now supports Oracle WebLogic 14cR1. For more information, see Monitoring WebLogic.

Profile page

The Profile page is added to Instana. Now you can view the email ID associated with your Instana user account and add your name to the profile. For more information, see Managing your profile.

SAP ABAP sensor

Instana now automatically generates built-in events for the ABAP system that is being monitored if any of the following instances occur:

• The CPU is idle with the usage less than 10%.
• The memory usage is greater than 80%.
• The work process is stopped, shutdown, or in PRIV mode (private).
• The file system usage is greater than 80%.

TIBCO BusinessWorks 6.10 support

ClickHouse dashboard

Formatted the Running Merges table to improve the readability of specific metrics.

Elasticsearch shard level metrics

The index table on the Elasticsearch node dashboard now displays the details of indexes with shards on the node, aggregating data from those shards. To ensure the correctness of the index metrics that are displayed on the cluster dashboard, upgrade to Elasticsearch sensor 1.1.73.

Logging

For new logs, if no log level is identified in the log message, then the log level NONE is displayed.

SAP HANA sensor

Instana now supports the monitoring of the Lock Wait Statistics metrics in SAP HANA sensor. For more information, see Monitoring SAP HANA.

TIBCO ActiveSpaces monitoring

More metrics are now added to the dashboard of the TIBCO ActiveSpaces node.

IBM OpenStack sensor

Previously, the project name, CPU, memory, and storage resources details were displayed wrongly on the IBM OpenStack sensor dashboard. This issue is now fixed, and the details are now displayed correctly.

WebSphere Application Server certificate expiration metric

Previously, the certificates.*.expDaysLeft metric showed negative values for the days past the expiration date. Now, on reaching the expiration date the metric value shows zero, and this issue is now fixed. As a result, the metric is now properly rendered in charts and can be used to trigger alerts within Infrastructure Smart Alerts.
