The EUM/RUM website monitoring source supports the following widgets: Appdex: chart, Big number, Chart: pie, Chart: time series, SLO, and Top list. These widgets enable wide range of data representation.While the widgets share several common fields, each widget might include specific fields. In this example, the Big Number widget is used to illustrate specific field details.

Adding a widget

Edit online

To add a widget, complete the following steps:

  1. In the custom dashboard, click Add widget.
  2. Select one of the following supported widgets:
    • Appdex: chart
    • Big number
    • Chart: pie
    • Chart: time series
    • SLO
    • Top list
  3. In the widget configuration, set the following options:
    • Data Source: Select Websites (beacons).
    • Beacon type: Select your desired beacon type.
    • Metric: Select the required metric.
    • Aggregation: If available, select the required aggregation type.
    • Formatter: Select the required formatter.
    • Filter: Click Add filter, then choose a filter. To add more filters, click Add filter again.
    • Time shift (optional): Turn on and select a time shift.
    • Threshold (optional): Turn on and select a threshold.
    • Widget name (optional): Enter a name for the widget.
  4. Click Create and then click Save changes.

Updating the existing widget

To update the existing widget, complete the following steps:

  1. On your custom dashboard, hover over the widget.
  2. Click ... and then click Edit.
  3. Update the necessary details.
  4. Click Confirm and then click Save changes.
Note: You cannot group datasets directly in a single widget. To create a similar view, add multiple datasets.
