The Instana home page is redesigned to make onboarding easier and effective for free trial users. The new experience is designed to help you get started faster, minimize setup effort, and access key resources all in one place.

The home page now features two primary tabs to enhance usability and streamline access:

  1. Your Dashboard
    • Provides personalized insights and key metrics to monitor performance and systems.
    • No changes to existing functionality. Everything works as before.
    • Provides a consolidated view of websites, mobile apps, platforms, events, and so on.
  2. Getting Started
    • Tailored to help free trial users onboard quickly and confidently.
    • Centralizes essential resources to guide setup and maximize trial value.

    • A list of the main onboarding tasks that guide you through the initial setup and configuration.
    • When a task is completed, it automatically moves to the Completed Tasks section for easy tracking.

  • Guided Video Tutorials: A catalog of walkthroughs for key features, workflows, and best practices.

  • Community Blogs: Expert and community-driven articles on new capabilities, real-world use cases, and tips.

  • Instana Community: A hub to connect with peers, share experiences, and stay updated with announcements.
