The metrics reporting is now disabled for Kafka consumers that are created by the Instana Kafka sensor.

Kafka sensor 1.1.55 is released on 13 January 2025.

Fixes

Previously, a few consumer groups from the maximum limit of total consumer groups were not listed in the Consumer Groups Lag Per Topic metric. The issue is now fixed and all the consumer groups that are included in the total consumer groups appear in the metric.
