Improvements

This release updates the support for Google.Cloud.PubSub.V1 3.24.0.

Fixes

This release fixes the following issues:

  • Previously, the X-INSTANA-L header was not respected and propagated correctly for suppressing distributed traces for both HTTP and Kafka requests. This issue is now fixed.
  • Previously, configuration-based SDK rewriting was not working correctly. This issue is now fixed.

Fixes

If any instrumented functions are implemented in Kafka after the consume operation, the operations that are performed inside the consume function were not shown as the Kafka trace continuation. This issue is now fixed.
