Go sensor releases

Instana monitors Go applications by using the Instana Go tracer package. The Go sensor provides insights into the health and performance of Go applications. For more information, see Monitoring Go.

Instana Go sensor 1.3.8 is released on 26 February 2025.

Improvements

The Instana Go tracer requires Go 1.23 or later. If you use an earlier version, a warning message is displayed in the Instana dashboard, indicating that you need to upgrade to a supported version.
