Reinstall and start the earlier database server

Reinstall and configure the earlier version of the database server.

Refer to the instructions in your IBM Informix Installation Guide and your IBM Informix Administrator's Guide.

Before you start the server: If you have time series data and you reverted to Informix® 12.10.xC1, you must install the patch patch-idsdb00493404.tar on Informix 12.10.xC1. You can obtain the patch from the IBM® Support Portal.

Run the oninit -s command to start the earlier database server in quiescent mode.

Important: Do not use the oninit -i command.
