Fix pack naming conventions
Informix® releases and fix packs contain version names that appear in the format aa.bb.xCn.
In this format:
- aa = major release number
- bb = minor release number
- x = all supported operating system platforms,
unless one of the following characters appears in the position of x:
- F = 64-bit on supported UNIX, Linux, or Windows platforms
- J = Java™
- T = 32-bit on supported Windows platforms
- U = 32-bit on supported UNIX or Linux platforms
- C = GA release
- n = fix pack level
For example, in Version 12.10.xC2, 12 is the major release number, 10 is the minor release number, x means any platform, C means GA release, and 2 means fix pack 2.
