BUF= parameter for procedures

Use the BUF= parameter in procedure to specify a 1- to 3-digit number defining the number of 1 KB blocks to be used in calculating the size of the OSAM subpools.

This parameter applies only to a DL/I batch environment; it is used only if the DFSVSAMP data set is not supplied or does not include any IOBF control statements.
