OLDS Latency enhancement

In IMS 15.3, the OLDS Latency enhancement allows you to specify a maximum interval between writes to the OLDS.

This enhancement is added to IMS 15.3 by APAR PH70051/UO08796.

An optional parameter LOGFLUSHINTVL is added to the DFSDFxxx member of the IMS PROCLIB data set and the UPDATE IMS command. LOGFLUSHINTVL is a value in tenths of seconds. If no buffer is written to the OLDS in the normal course of events within this interval, IMS will pad out the current buffer and write it.

Changes to commands

For IMS, the following commands are updated:
  1. /DISPLAY OLDS
  2. QUERY IMS
